Service Management Expert (relocation to Belgium)
We are looking for an ITSM Consultant who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium. Eligibility:Candidate must currently reside in the EU. Portuguese Citizenship is mandatory. Candidate must be prepared to obtain EU Clearance after accepting the job offer. Key Responsibilities:Lead the ITSM Maturity Assessment , managing external consultants and delivering improvement plans to drive service excellence. Coordinate and analyze stakeholder feedback to refine and implement the IT Service Strategy , ensuring effective adoption across the organization. Develop and update the ITSM Strategy in alignment with organizational goals and input from stakeholders. Draft and coordinate the Service Transition Directive to facilitate smooth transitions of IT services into operations. Review and enhance the Performance Measurement Framework , ensuring its effectiveness and alignment with defined objectives. Draft and manage IT Service Management process documentation , including
- level agreements,
- level targets (KPIs), policies, directives, and operating procedures. Oversee and review the deliverables and performance of external service providers. Build consensus among stakeholders and foster strong professional relationships, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams. Mandatory Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in managing IT Services (as a Service Manager), working within a Service Management Office , or consulting on IT Governance or IT Service Management projects. Experience drafting and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and defining
- level targets (KPIs). Skilled in drafting ITSM documentation such as policies, directives, standard operating procedures , and service delivery plans. Hands-on experience overseeing deliverables from external suppliers and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Experience collaborating with senior users and managers to deliver compelling presentations and drive consensus. Certifications:ITIL v4 Practice Manager, ITIL v4 Managing Professional, or ITIL v3 Intermediate certifications in Service Operation or Service Transition. Technical Knowledge and Skills:Comprehensive understanding of IT Service Management processes , particularly Service Strategy, Service Operation, and Service Transition. Strong knowledge of
- level measurement frameworks (KPIs, service levels, and targets). Familiarity with Requirements Engineering and Project Management practices. Working knowledge of ITSM tools and platforms.
