PUBLIC NOTICE

Under the terms of Article 11 of Ministerial Order nr. 233/2022, of 9 September, it is hereby made public that, by order of the Magnificent Rector, Amílcar Celta Falcão Ramos Ferreira, of January 21, 2025, is open for a period of 20 working days for the recruitment procedure for one position, category of Senior Technician, as a public service employment contract of
- term duration of the staff map of the University of Coimbra.

1. Place of work: Department of Earth Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra.

2. Job characterization: Consultancy, study, planning, programming, evaluation and application of methods and processes of a technical and scientific nature, which support and prepare decisions. Duties include supporting activities under the international FINGER-PT project, preparing samples for electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction tests; operating the scanning electron microscope; carrying out X-ray diffraction analyses; acquiring and processing data; participating in training sessions and supporting the FINGER-PT project team.

3. Admission requirements: Portuguese Nationality, 18 years of age, not inhibited from exercising public functions, physical strength and mental profile indispensable to the performance of duties, and compliance with mandatory vaccination laws.

4. Academic qualifications: Degree in Earth Sciences (CNAEF Code 443), Degree in Physics (CNAEF Code 441), Degree in Mechanical Engineering (CNAEF Code 521) or Degree in Materials Engineering (CNAEF Code 543).

Additional Information

The remuneratory position will obey the provisions of article 38 of the LTFP, with the position of reference being the 1st remuneratory position of the Senior Technician career, level 16 of the Single Remuneration Table.
