Duty is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our diverse,
- focused team! As Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for identifying the stakeholders, driving to set roadmaps and strategies for the program, leading delivery, reporting status, and holding the bar on quality. This is an exciting opportunity as you will work with many teams in different domains (IT, Security, Finance, etc. ) and also work effectively with engineers, engineering managers, product managers, customer service, marketing, and sales teams. This role is expected to come into our Lisbon office 1 time per month, so you can thrive in your new role and fully embrace being a Dutonian!
Candidates must be willing to adjust their working hours to accommodate some Pacific Time/West Coast hours to collaborate effectively with our US-based teams. The hours for this role will be 12pm-8pm GMT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IT program planning, milestone and success criteria definition, resource allocation plan, and estimation leading to predictable delivery.
- Analyze large data sets quickly to identify complex patterns and relationships resulting in practical solutions to real business problems.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, providing escalation management and making tradeoffs.
- Identify unstructured problems and drive technical and operational improvement, business strategies, and technical solutions across teams.
- Provide technical contribution working with
- functional teams to surface dependencies, risks, mitigation plans, and estimation refinement. - Collaborate closely with
- functional partners to drive iterative process improvements. - Leverage tools and processes to improve productivity in support of the program.
- Communicate successes, schedules, priorities, issues, and overall program health to all levels in the company.
- Create, track, and drive critical path, flagging and managing risks, dependencies, and decisions that affect the program.
- Drive program alignment on present and future outcomes that support company’s strategy.
- Manage program financials related to capitalization.
- Manage procurement processes related to the initiative.
- Creation and distribution of impactful automated reporting.
- 6+ years of experience in Technical Program Management.
- Experience running security & IT, data programs, business applications, or any related technical programs.
- Ability to work primary hours of 12pm-8pm GMT.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with managing
- scale programs with a wide impact radius (such as migrations/deprecations etc. ). - Confidence leading and influencing.
- Experience with financial systems.
