This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – work from home for 3 days per week.

As a Tech Lead – Financial Systems, you will work for our client—a global IT leader driving innovation with
- edge solutions and services. You’ll be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of financial systems, ensuring they run smoothly.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of a new project, including the entire architecture and database design.
• Develop and maintain robust and scalable Java applications.
• Design and implement REST APIs.
• Use design patterns to keep your code clean and maintainable.
• Build
  - end applications with the Angular framework.
• Work with Spring-boot 2. 7. 18 for backend development.
• Manage project dependencies with Maven 3. 9. X.
• Write and optimize SQL queries.
• Use Git for version control and collaboration.
• Oversee and guide a team of 2 developers.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• Proficiency in English (B2/C1) and French (C1).
• Experience with Java 8/11.
• Strong knowledge of REST API development.
• Experience with the Angular framework for
  - end development.
• Proficiency in Spring-boot 2. 7. 18.
• Experience with Maven 3. 9. X.
• Good knowledge of SQL and SQL Server.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Knowledge of system architecture and database design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and ticketing systems like JIRA.
• Understanding of common security principles (SSL certificates, JWT tokens, etc. ).
• Experience with Linux/AIX operating systems and associated tools (grep, curl, tail, vi, openssl, etc. ).
• Knowledge of middlewares such as Apache, Wild
  Fly, and Open
  LDAP.
• Familiarity with network concepts (load balancing, routing, protocols, etc. ).
• Experience with shell scripting and PL/SQL.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
