Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Nokia, you will play a pivotal role in developing
- edge solutions for Autonomous Networks, directly influencing the future of telecommunications. You will join a dynamic and multicultural team that thrives on collaboration, creativity, and Agile methodologies. Your work will encompass all stages of the development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment. In this
- paced environment, you will tackle complex technical challenges and contribute to innovative projects within the 5G Core and Radio domains. Expect a supportive atmosphere that fosters continuous learning, where your expertise in programming languages like Java, Java
Script, and Python, as well as your knowledge of AIOPs/MLOps and network technologies, will be valued and expanded. Together, we will drive the evolution of telecommunications technology and enhance autonomous network capabilities.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

1. Collaborate with
   - functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions for Autonomous Networks.
2. Engage in requirement analysis, solution design, and implementation following Agile methodologies.
3. Utilize your programming skills in Java, Java
   Script, and Python to build robust software components.
4. Test and validate solutions using automation tools and frameworks to ensure
   - quality deliverables.
5. Participate in the deployment of applications utilizing CI/CD practices for smooth transitions to production environments.
6. Contribute to
   - sharing sessions and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
7. Stay updated with the latest trends in telecommunications, specifically in the 5G Core and Radio domains.
8. Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in Java, Java
   Script, and Python.
3. Practical experience with Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins.
4. A solid understanding of network technologies and protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, REST, etc.

It would be nice if you also had:

1. Experience in BPMN workflows development (e. g. Camunda).
2. Familiarity with Cloud native containers/framework (Docker/Kubernetes).
3. Knowledge of Databases (Maria
   DB, Apache Cassandra).
4. Experience with Test automation tools (e. g. Robot framework, Cucumber).
