As a Software Engineer at Nokia, you will play a pivotal role in developing
- edge solutions for Autonomous Networks, directly influencing the future of telecommunications. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Collaborate with
- functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions for Autonomous Networks. - Engage in requirement analysis, solution design, and implementation following Agile methodologies.
- Utilize your programming skills in Java, Java
Script, and Python to build robust software components. - Test and validate solutions using automation tools and frameworks to ensure
- quality deliverables. - Participate in the deployment of applications utilizing CI/CD practices for smooth transitions to production environments.
- Contribute to
- sharing sessions and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. - Stay updated with the latest trends in telecommunications, specifically in the 5G Core and Radio domains.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Java, Java
Script, and Python. - Practical experience with Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins.
- A solid understanding of network technologies and protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, REST, etc.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience in BPMN workflows development (e. g. Camunda).
- Familiarity with Cloud native containers/framework (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of Databases (Maria
DB, Apache Cassandra). - Experience with Test automation tools (e. g. Robot framework, Cucumber).
