Working model: Hybrid: 2/3 days a week in Client (Lisboa)

Seniority: Senior, up to 9 years of experience in the role for the service to be contracted

Language Requirements: Fluent Portuguese and English (C1) and Spanish (nice to have)

Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a Solution Architect specializing in software application design (not development).

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or similar
2. Good written and verbal communication skills
3. Ability to work in a collaborative environment and with global teams
4. Ability for critical analysis and focused on problem solving
5. Commitment to quality of deliveries
6. Knowledge of languages (written and oral): English
7. Ability to critically analyze business requirements, framing them within Client's reference application architecture
8. Consolidated knowledge of the various types of architectural pieces
9. Focus on clear documentation of the architecture and compliance with governance rules
10. Clear communication of defined security rules and application and technological architecture, and autonomous ability to persuade their adoption

Your Daily Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for defining and documenting logical architectural solution designs with a focus on API design and integration. This role requires strong analytical skills, clear communication, and a deep understanding of architectural principles to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.

Deliverables:

1. Documentation of logical architectural solution designs with simple and medium impacts on architecture
2. Design and specification of APIs

Nice to Have:

1. Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR
2. Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA and Confluence tools
3. Experience in projects
4. Knowledge of languages (written and oral): Portuguese, Spanish

Solution Architect specialized in design of software applications (NOT TO DEVELOP)

Strong critical thinking

Highly Desired:

1. Experience in the Utilities, mainly retail, sector
2. Experience with Data and Analytics desirable
