About the Role

The position we are recruiting for is on an established trading system development project with a large enterprise client, handling millions of dollars of traded value each day. We are looking for a senior or high performing QA Automation Engineer to join our development team.

- based application.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Building and maintaining automated test pipelines utilizing Playwright tests
2. Analyzing, understanding, and reviewing the product's functional and
   - functional requirements and identifying gaps and inconsistencies
3. Developing automated tests for software validation, ensuring high quality of the system
4. As part of the QA team, taking ownership of quality aspects of the system
5. Reporting and managing/triaging existing defects, ensuring proper
   - up and actions are being taken by the team
6. Promoting and adopting QA best practices, contributing to their continuous improvement
7. Contributing to the definition of test automation guidelines and standards in order to improve the software testing process

Requirements

1. QA Engineering Experience (software testing experience). At least three years of experience writing automated tests for web and/or
   - web based applications
2. Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes with fluency in Javascript/Typescript and Git/Git
   Hub
3. Knowledge of Jest, Playwright, and BDD tools (e. g. , Cucumber)

Nice to Have:

1. Experience of high volume, high availability, high stakes enterprise systems
2. Experience building and/or testing REST and/or web socket based APIs
3. Experience with trading applications (in production)
4. Performance testing experience with K6, Artillery, or similar
