In your new role you will:
- Guide and drive strategic architecture decisions that shape the future of AI at Infineon, influencing product innovations and process optimizations.
- Stay at the
- edge of AI technologies, sorting opportunity and maturity and translating
- edge technology innovation into viable,
- generating use cases. - Collaborate with stakeholders across different organizations and functions to ensure implementation for scaling value and alignment of AI solutions with business goals and user needs.
- Ensure availability and evolution of state-of-art AI stack (including Gen
AI), MLOps and Governance platform, drive and coordinate the requirements and AI architecture definition, user guidance aligned with our business needs. - Mentor, share knowledge and foster AI talents; bring in industry experience and best practices. Guide and inspire our data scientist community fostering an environment of collaboration, creativity, and technical excellence.
- Build and maintain a network of experts within Infineon and our larger ecosystem (cooperation partners, universities, institutes, innovators around the globe).
- Tackle the toughest of challenges with a combination of analytical prowess, innovative thinking, and a deep understanding of the AI landscape and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Champion the responsible use of AI, ensuring our solutions are ethical, transparent and fair. Support our responsible AI office with expert advice to support continuous improvement and ensure that IFX stands out as a quality leader.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Computer Science or Data Science or similar.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in the field of Data and AI, within the manufacturing / R&D environment and Generative AI applications, preferably with knowledge of semiconductor design and production, digitalization, and artificial intelligence.
- Outstanding knowledge and experience in Data Science and MLOps in the fields of ML/DL, Generative AI.
- Extensive expertise in at least one of the following areas: leveraging Gen
AI for enhancing efficiency and fundamental innovation, applying AI and machine learning in
- tech semiconductor production, utilizing AI and ML for improving quality, or specializing in Edge
AI and Tiny
ML for Io
T and embedded applications. - Proven and Demonstrated experience in the area of software and deployment, CI-CD, and ML operations, as well as software/AI quality.
- Advanced expertise in implementing ML/DL in productive environments at scale (manufacturing and R&D).
- Capability to quickly comprehend complex interrelations, structure them, and motivate others while building networks.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German to communicate effectively across roles and functions.
