Your mission will be…

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring both the immediate reliability and
- term advancement of our digital infrastructure, supporting API Management platforms for Central IT and implementing APIOps approach on Kong API platform. By leveraging your strong knowledge of cloud operations, toolchains & workflows, you'll drive significant improvements in efficiency and innovation across our services. Writing infrastructure and configuration as code will be key to your success in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure as code and configuration as code solutions to streamline API management processes.
2. Utilize your expertise in KONG API management for effective integration and optimization within our enterprise environment.
3. Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the API infrastructure in cloud settings.
4. Collaborate with
   - functional teams to enhance API consumption and integration across various platforms.
5. Monitor and optimize API performance, proactively addressing any scalability and reliability issues.
6. Utilize Ansible, Kubernetes, and Git
   Ops practices to drive automation and consistency in cloud operations.
7. Develop comprehensive documentation and establish best practices for infrastructure management.

We are looking for someone with…

1. A degree in Computer Science or a related field
2. Between 3 to 5 years of experience in the area
3. Strong expertise in toolchains & workflows, and cloud operations.
4. Proficiency in writing infrastructure as code and configuration as code.
5. Experience writing Infra and configurations as a Code.
6. Experience with AWS or Azure is a must.
7. Familiarity with AWS and Azure API management solutions is a plus.
8. Advanced
   - solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly in cloud infrastructure contexts.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
10. Ability to lead initiatives and mentor junior team members, fostering an innovative engineering culture.
11. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
