Senior Performance Tester

Responsibilities

1. Be an active part of the creation of teams, ensuring that they have the correct equipment and knowledge. This may include giving theoretical and practical training to the teams.
2. Establish and promote the QA good practices, ensuring the quality and efficiency of the procedures. This includes guideline documentation, checklists and standards that must be followed by all teams.
3. Define clear, efficient and homogeneous processes for test execution. The processes must ensure the consistency and traceability of the results.
4. Establish a training plan for the existing teams containing the tools, operational model, processes and tests. The plan must guarantee that all teams are aligned and prepared from the beginning of the project, with continuous training.
5. Define the directives for report creation, ensuring that the results are communicated in a clear, effective and timely manner, and that the relevant metrics are presented.
6. Identify and implement the best tools for test automation and performance testing, making sure that the tools integrate seamlessly with the existing workflow.
7. Implementation of continuous monitoring of automated tests and performance, ensuring that any problems that may occur are identified and resolved proactively. This includes configuring alerts and periodically checking the results.

Skills

1. Degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science or similar areas.
2. ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL).
3. Certified Tester Performance Testing (CT-PT).
4. Minimum of 3 years work experience in similar roles.
5. API’s and Integration Testing experience, using tools like Postman, Soap
   UI, or Swagger and protocols like HTTP/HTTPS, Web
   Socket, etc.
6. Knowledge in server infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments (is a plus).
7. Experience in the integration of performance tests in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git
   Lab CI, or Azure Dev
   Ops.
8. Ability to interpret metrics such as response time, throughput, latency, and resource usage.
9. Ability to communicate clearly, especially with development teams to ensure efficient integration of automated tests.
10. Ability to identify risks and propose solutions to complex problems.
11. Organization to handle deadlines and priorities across multiple projects.
12. Fluent in English - written and spoken.
