We are looking for a Network Planning & Optimization Consultant. If you are looking for challenges and want to work on improving mobile network performance, this opportunity is for you!

DESCRIPTION:

As a Network Planning & Optimization Consultant, your
-
- day goal will be to improve overall network performance for our customers. Your key activities will include:

1. Planning and optimization activities for all generations of mobile networks (2G up to 5G);
2. Drive
   Test Processing, Analysis & Reporting with widely used tools (e. g. , TEMS Discovery), including E2E logs analysis and optimization;
3. Initial Tuning and Single Site optimization activities for all technologies;
4. Cluster tuning and optimization to achieve target KPIs;
5. KPI Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting;
6. Network Performance Benchmark;
7. KPI and Parameter mapping for
   - vendor projects;
8. Parameter inconsistencies check and database correction;
9. Knowledge sharing within the team & technical workshop creation as part of best practices.

Must Have:

1. Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar;
2. Background in communications theory and RF basics, broad knowledge of wireless technologies such as NB-Io
   T, Vo
   LTE, WCDMA, and GSM;
3. Proven experience in legacy technologies such as 2G/3G/4G/5G including their main E2E features;
4. Knowledge of 5G NR networks and associated 3GPP specifications, specifically on RAN features, optimization, air interface parameters, radio resource management, signaling, mobility settings, idle and active mode call processing;
5. Knowledge of RAN KPIs, counters, definitions of optimization parameters and their impacts on network performance and capacity;
6. Know-how in the Mobile Network lifecycle and processes (modernization, swap,
   - out, etc. );
7. Hands-on experience with performance management, RF optimization, and capacity planning, especially in LTE & 5G networks;
8. Experience in Planning & Optimization processes and tools;
9. Initial Tuning, Single Site Validation, Drive test, Cluster Optimization, Radio Network Planning, Network Audit, KPI Monitoring; familiarity with ATOLL, TEMS Discovery, Performance Manager, U2000, etc. ;
10. 9+ years of experience;
11. Portuguese & English (B2) knowledge is mandatory;
12. Mandatory Ericsson and Nokia vendor knowledge.

Nice To Have:

1. French or Spanish is a plus;
2. Knowledge in Open-Ran protocols is a plus;
3. Knowledge in BI, Data Processing, SQL, and Scripting (e. g. , Python) is a plus.
