As a Penetration Tester in our Tech Hub in Portugal, you will work hand in hand with colleagues of the internal Offensive Security team of the IT Security department of Prosieben
Sat. 1 Tech & Services (PTS). The Offensive Security team provides penetration tests and vulnerability assessments for a big range of entertainment, streaming and
- commerce applications, as well as their supporting infrastructure. Additionally, you will not only work very closely with our development/infrastructure departments and consult on security coding best practices but also with our internal SOC security analysts and security consultant. Your tasks will not only include planning and performing penetration tests and adversary emulations, but you will also have the opportunity to employ a creative and proactive approach to identify and mitigate potential security threats in open scope work not confined to routine assessments.

What you can expect in this role

• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on various systems, applications, and networks to identify security vulnerabilities.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and analyze test results to determine the level of risk and potential impact.
• Configure, perform, and maintain vulnerability scanning and assessments for servers and applications.
• Develop detailed reports outlining identified vulnerabilities, potential business risks, and recommended remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to understand their security requirements and provide expert advice on improving their security posture.
• Stay
  -
  - date with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and techniques to continually enhance your penetration testing skills.
• Assist in the development and improvement of internal testing methodologies and tools.

Your essential experience and education

• Must-have: Minimum of 2 years of penetration testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e. g. OWASP, Burp Suite, NIST, Metasploit, etc. ).
• Must-have: Experience performing penetration tests on web applications, mobile applications, network infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Nice-to-have: Relevant certifications such as OSCP, GPEN or equivalent are a plus.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with SAST Scanning, White
  Box Penetration Testing, vulnerability management or coding background is a plus.
• Excellent
  - solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients/partners.
• Fluent in English (Portuguese and/or German language proficiency is a plus).
