Job Description:
You will join the Activity Management team and will specifically focus on one application called Project and Activity Management (hereafter referred to as “PAM”). You will guide the technical direction of the FE & BE part of the PAM product, ensuring scalable, efficient, and secure solutions. You will collaborate with developers, UX designers and the functional team to align technical decisions with business goals. Mentoring team members, reviewing code and enforcing best practices are key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise and Support:
- Act as a technical expert, providing guidance and support to software developers and product owners.
- Address technical challenges and facilitate
- solving. - Contribute to story / feature readiness with technical specifications work.
- Lead iteration level technical ceremonies (TOP, Security & Quality gates review).
- Identify required Enablers / Po
C and manage their execution when needed. - Compliance and Review:
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with established coding standards and software development methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Ensure that each release met the Quality and Security gates in time.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Service Management:
- Resolve incidents (technical L2 / L3).
- Proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor system health.
- Participate in
- functional tests campaign (for example: Load testing / Connectivity tests / DRP) and analyze performance metrics. - Prepare, oversee and if needed contribute to release deployments.
- Training and Development:
- Organize and lead training sessions & workshops for software developers.
- Educate developers on the latest development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.
- Collaboration:
- Liaise with other internal technical teams when needed.
- Collaborate actively with the System Architects to maintain the product architectural runway and anticipate on PAM Architecture evolution.
- Collaborate with the Practice Lead to Develop, implement, and maintain coding standards, software development methodologies (e. g. , Agile, Scrum, Dev
Ops), and best practices. - Interact with ICT Suppliers, Service Providers, or counterparts at NGO Partner.
- Documentation:
- Ensure the key technical documentation are regularly updated for proper product maintenance.
Requirements:
- Technical
- Strong proficiency and proven experience with. NET 8 & microservices architecture, React
JS &
- end development. - Strong understanding of Redis, for optimizing performance and ensuring data persistence.
- Strong understanding of Apache Kafka, on how to implement it for
- time data pipelines, ensuring high throughput, fault tolerance, and scalability. - Strong understanding of Mongo
DB, for
- performance and scalable applications with flexible schema design and API Management (APIM). - Hands-on experience with: Linux commands and server management; Kubernetes for container orchestration and Open
Shift; CI/CD pipelines and Azure Dev
Ops. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
- Experience in low connectivity context (considered a plus).
- Non-technical
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent
- solving skills and attention to detail. - Leadership skills: ability to make technological decisions.
- Mentorship: Willingness and ability to mentor team members and facilitate their learning path.
- Familiarity with agile way of work (SCRUM, SAFe).
- Languages: Strong English (written and spoken) is a must, French is a plus.
