Job Description:

Key areas of responsibility are:

• Mechanical development for new products, considering functionality, industrialization, and
  - effectiveness.
• Setting up and implementing analyses to verify the design at different stages of product development.
• Conduct reliability testing and validation of mechanical designs.
• Align deliverables and deadlines with relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee the design and manufacturing of prototypes.
• Perform Failure Mode Analysis (DFMEA).

Qualifications:

What distinguishes you:

• Familiarity with Product Development tools (DFMEA and FMEA).
• Proficiency in FEA analysis tools and mechanical test strategies.
• Knowledge of materials and related manufacturing processes.
• Experience with product and material certification.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in Mechanical Design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (CREO).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including injection molding, sheet metal and machining.
• Strong
  - solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Hybrid regime - 2 days at the office in Ovar.
