Senior Market Intelligence Analyst

Summary:

As Senior Market Intelligence Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting Amadeus Airport & Airline Operations business unit (Air
Ops) to understand market trends, competitive landscapes and customer behaviors to make informed business decisions on portfolio growth strategy.

Key responsibilities:

1. Deliver market and competitive insights to guide senior management on medium &
   - term strategies by enhancing understanding on markets, customers, competition, products, trends and standards & legislation;
2. Assess potential market (TAM/SAM/SOM) and product gaps across the company's new and existing portfolio to deliver recommendations on potential portfolio growth;
3. Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and competitor performance to identify opportunities and threats;
4. Conduct SWOT analyses to evaluate competitive positioning within the main business verticals;
5. Analyze competitors’ strategies, product offerings, pricing, and market share;
6. Prepare detailed competitor profiles to support strategic planning;
7. Work closely with sales, product and executive teams to align market intelligence deliverables with business objectives;
8. Act as a subject matter expert to support
   - functional teams with ad hoc market analysis;
9. Deliver internal sessions to expose deliverables and collect inputs to be incorporated, ensuring alignment;

About the Ideal Candidate:

1. Degree or master's in Management, Economics or related areas;
2. 7+ years of experience in market research and/or data analysis working with various and large datasets;
3. Advanced data analysis skills using Excel formulas (Index Match, IF combined with AND/OR, CONCATENATE, etc);
4. Good use of English (oral and written);
5. Able to take full ownership of initiatives (propose/create content, organize conversations, connect teams, organize internal sessions, etc);
6. Preferable, use of statistics in Excel (correlation, covariance, histogram, etc).
