As our new Senior Legal Counsel, you have a solid understanding of both the Legal and the Tech sector. You are a considerate, bright, forward thinking, entrepreneurial candidate, with a passion for software and “legal tech” products. You are a person with strong communication,
- on mentality and strong analytical skills.
Your Tasks
- Proactively shape the strategic direction of our “legal tech” roadmap
- Play a pivotal role within the dynamic and
- thinking Product and Tech teams; from the initial stages of design and development, through launch and implementation of new products and services - globally - Review customer journey and user flows, product feature guides, marketing materials, and other
- facing communications to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards globally - Provide
- line counseling to our commercial teams and drive the negotiations and contract closures for our global Saa
S business - Build and maintain knowledge of critical global law developments and authority decisions.
- Externally promote and advocate for the integration of “legal tech” advancements, empowering professionals to transform the way they work and maximize their productivity
- Being the Legal representation of our company at public speaking opportunities, conferences, and workshops
- Partner with internal stakeholders across various functions globally, to proactively provide legal guidance and manage legal risks and requirements, with the balance of advancing our business goals and growth
- Develop scalable processes for Legal review of new products and services
You Bring
- University degree of law in the European Union, Economics Law or comparable education with a strong connection to Technology Operations, Legal Tech, Product as well as Data Privacy and IT Security
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a comparable globally operating legal operations role and in the area of Legal Tech, Saa
S, information security and data privacy - Advanced In-house counsel experience required
- Solid understanding of complex Saa
S and digital products, tracking/scanning services, consent management and
- prem technology solutions - Comprehensive knowledge of global commercial, privacy and data security laws and regulations, especially of laws, legislations and authority decisions in the European Union and worldwide
- Proven track record and strong public profile with an outgoing and social personality being comfortable with public speaking engagements, conferences, workshops
- Fluent in written and spoken English (our company language). Portuguese, Danish, German and other language skills are a huge advantage
- Willingness to travel to our other hubs in Europe and/or to public speaking engagements
