This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – work from home for 3 days per week.

As a Senior Java / Spring-Boot Developer, you will work for our client – a global IT leader driving innovation with
- edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for developing robust and scalable applications using Java and Spring-boot.

Your main responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain Java applications with a focus on performance and security.
2. Utilize Spring-boot to create microservices and contribute to the overall architecture of the system.
3. Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and ensure seamless deployment and scaling of applications.
4. Ensure network protocols such as HTTP and REST are correctly implemented for efficient data communication.
5. Interact with Postgre
   SQL databases, write complex SQL queries, and develop stored procedures as needed.
6. Use GIT and Git
   Lab-CI for version control and continuous integration, ensuring code quality and consistency.
7. Adhere to best development practices including code reviews, Software Craftsmanship, TDD, DDD, and hexagonal architecture.
8. Troubleshoot issues and have proficiency with monitoring tools like Kibana, Dynatrace, and Grafana.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

1. 5+ years of experience in Java development.
2. Strong understanding of the Spring-boot framework.
3. Familiarity with Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
4. Good knowledge of networking, HTTP, and RESTful services.
5. Experience with Postgre
   SQL, SQL, and stored procedures.
6. Proficiency in GIT and experience with Git
   Lab-CI.
7. Fluency in French.
