About the role
As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing intuitive,
- performance web applications that enhance user experiences. You will collaborate closely with our product, design, and backend engineering teams to create seamless and engaging interfaces. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the technical direction of our
- end architecture and ensuring the delivery of
- quality, scalable solutions. By leveraging your deep understanding of modern
- end technologies, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our products.
What you'll do
- Design and Implementation: Design and implement
- friendly web applications using modern frontend frameworks and libraries. - Collaboration with Product Managers and Designers: Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into functional and appealing interactive applications.
- Optimization for Speed and Scalability: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Technical Feasibility of UI/UX Designs: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Clean and Efficient Code: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Code Reviews and Mentorship: Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Staying Up-to-Date with Emerging Technologies: Stay

- Best Practices in Front-End Development: Implement and advocate for best practices in

- Ownership of Software Solutions: Taking ownership of the analysis, design, development, and delivery of software solutions.
- Defining Application Requirements: Defining requirements for new applications and customization in accordance with Mastercard standards, processes, and best practices.
- Application Development and Customization: Developing, customizing, and testing applications to align with Mastercard’s specifications.
- Technical Training: Providing technical training to fellow team members.
- Design Sessions: Actively participating in design sessions.
- Sprint Planning and Backlog Management: Participate in sprint planning and backlog sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience in frontend development.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Mob
X. - Experience with building tools such as Webpack, Babel, or similar.
- Excellent
- solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with
- functional teams. - Results-driven attitude, with a focus on delivering
- quality code and meeting project deadlines. - Ability to work in an agile development environment and adapt to changing priorities.
