Job Description:
You will be the project lead for carbon accounting projects on a corporate or product level and develop tangible carbon reduction pathways.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects for climate accounting (industry & public sector actors)
- Calculation of CO2 footprints of companies or products (PCF, CCF, Scope 1, 2 & 3)
- Manage and contract required software for carbon accounting
- Enhance existing accounting methodologies
- Analysis of CO2 hotspots from balance sheets
- Supervise the development of CO2 reduction measures
- Support CDP reporting and SBTi target setting
- Contribution to the development of the
- up in Portugal
Qualifications:
- Motivation to support companies and institutions on a path to real climate protection and sustainability
- At least 2-5 years experience in CO2/carbon accounting and related software (e. g. Open
LCA, Gabi, ecoinvent or similar) - Experience to work in/with multinational teams
- Problem-solving and
- focused attitude - Experience with delivering results with set deadlines
- Interest in the dynamic
- up environment - Fluent English and optional German skills are required
- Willingness to travel in EU (mostly Lisbon – Stuttgart)
- Permission to be employed in Portugal
