The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Senior Drupal Developer to complement and bolster our current team of talented developers. As part of the role, you will be architecting solutions, leading projects, working with our Technical Solutions Team, contributing to our proposals, and helping to win new clients with your
- solving and ideas. If you feel you have the ability to break down technical ideas into layman's terms, you will also have the opportunity to support our Strategy Team with new business pitches.

You will get to explore new technology and influence our ways of working within our collaborative environment. We’re particularly keen to
- establish links back into the Drupal community and we’re looking for a candidate who also shares this passion and enthusiasm.

This role will be the first Senior Drupal Developer role in the region, and initially be
- alone, supported by the wider Development Team. It is an exciting time to join us as we grow our global presence beyond our current locations in Hong Kong, USA, Europe (Germany and Portugal) and the UK.

About you

This is a key hire for our business, and we’re absolutely determined to seek out the very best Senior Drupal Developer to enhance the skills of our existing team.

In recent times, we’ve won several new client projects. Your role as a Senior Developer will be to support and lead on these projects, owning the solution and delivering an exceptional
- product that we’re all proud to put our names to, and the client is equally delighted with.

Project leadership,
- motivation and collaboration will be essential skills. As we grow the regional team, there will be the opportunity to mentor junior members.

Skills, knowledge and experience

Multiple years of professional development in Drupal, including:

1. Architecting and building complex
   - scale Drupal websites
2. Configuration Management
3. Object Oriented Programming
4. A good understanding of Drupal’s API, Custom module and theme development
5. API Integrations (REST/SOAP)
6. A keen eye for security and performance
7. Working with Git + follow a branching methodology

Nice to have:

1. Apache / Nginx configuration
2. Knowledge of Cloudflare or other CDN providers
3. Knowledge of and application to Amazon Web Services (AWS)
4. Javascript / j
   Query
5. Continuous Integration (Bitbucket Pipelines, Github Actions)
6. Automated Testing (Unit testing, Behat, Cypress)
7. Docker
8. Exposure to SEO best practices
