Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist / Senior ML Ops Engineer to join our team. This position plays a crucial support role in managing and resolving questions and issues related to one of our newly developed AI/ML applications.

• This position will have a crucial support role in handling questions / support for one of the new applications.
  
  
• Candidate will be responsible to analyse and identify issues in the newly developed AI/ML application.
  
  
• Candidate will also be responsible to coordinate the resolution with other (technical and functional) teams.
  
  
• Candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to explain the issues in a
  - technical manner and the path to resolution.
  
  
• Ensures quality resolutions and implementations according to the CI/CD process focused around Jenkins, Domino and Sonarcube.
  
  
• Focus on following technologies & methodologies: Pandas / pyspark / Dash / kedro / yml / sql queries through Python / modeling / feature selection / model validation.
  
  

Requirements

• Impeccable professional proficiency in English.
  
  
• 7+ years of experience in building and/or maintaining python based ML/AI solutions and data pipelines.
  
  
• Candidate must have excellent python coding skills to quickly identify issues and work towards a resolution.
  
  
• High level of expertise in above mentioned technology & methodology stack.
  
  
• Flexibility in working across timezones, i. e. willing to shift working hours to accommodate meetings outside of regular working hours.
  
  
• Experience in working with productivity tools like JIRA / XRAY / Confluence.
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience in working in a global, complex, multinational organisation in a team spread across timezones.
  
  
• Prior exposure to the Pharmaceutical Industry and/or heavily regulated environment.
  
  
• Scientific Degree/Ph
  D in any pharmaceutical / life sciences field.
  
  
• Basic commercial insight as a consultant.
