About the Client:

Our client is one of the biggest Media and Entertainment companies in the world. They are building a system that extracts meaningful insights from video content and leverages machine learning to forecast key performance metrics. Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to lead the development of machine learning models for video content analysis and revenue prediction. This role involves
-
- end processing, from data extraction to model deployment, requiring expertise in transcription, metadata integration, and advanced machine learning techniques. The ideal candidate will have
- on experience with Python, web scraping, regression models, and cloud platforms for deployment.

The role is fully remote. Preferred location is in Europe, or similar time zones.

The role is a
- term renewable contract position through Xenon7, which is the approved vendor of the client.

The payments are paid out in gross amount in USD on a monthly schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Download video materials and extract audio channels for analysis.
• Use transcription models like Whisper to generate text from audio.
• Scrape metadata from sources like IMDb and integrate it with transcribed data.
• Develop predictive models, such as XGBoost, to forecast metrics like revenue.
• Build and deploy web services to serve machine learning models.
• Containerize applications using Docker for scalable deployment.
• Deploy solutions on cloud platforms like Azure, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to refine data pipelines and processes.
• Ensure code quality, version control, and collaboration using Git.
• Proficiency in Python, including libraries for web scraping and data analysis.
• Experience with transcription tools like Whisper or similar.
• Strong knowledge of regression and prediction models (e. g. , XGBoost).
• Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or equivalents.
• Experience in developing and deploying web services (e. g. , Flask, Fast
  API).
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
• Strong
  - solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying insights and findings.
