As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be a key member of our data team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure and pipelines that drive our
- driven
- making processes.

You will collaborate with
- functional teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and accessibility of our data assets, enabling our organization to extract actionable insights and deliver
- impact solutions.

Requirements

What you will be doing:

1. You will work in the capacity of a Data Engineer focusing on the data deliverables for Business and Studio.
2. Designing and building data models to support Data Science, Business Intelligence, and downstream data sets.
3. Building APIs and data products to better integrate data throughout our systems and processes.
4. Monitoring the data pipelines and communicating any issues to leadership and partners.
5. Working closely with business partners and developers to ensure proper requirements are documented and agreed to for our different initiatives.
6. Partnering with developers and leadership to coordinate
   - function and
   - team efforts.

You Rock at:

1. Proven experience with Data Engineer/Data Quality Engineer in a
   - paced environment.
2. An expert developer using SQL and SQL-like query languages.
3. Deep expertise in Python and experience organizing Python-based projects.
4. Vast experience with Snowflake.
5. Vast experience with ETL and ELT.
6. Experience with Cloud AWS and its services.
7. Experience with Data Build
   Tool - DBT.
8. A strong understanding of different data modeling methodologies (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault).

Would be Nice to have:

1. Experience defining and crafting automated unit and integration testing frameworks for data projects.
2. Previous experience as Business Intelligence and Business Analyst.
3. Experience with Ia
   C's such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
4. Experience with CI/CD automation - using Git
   Lab.
5. Experience with Batch and Streaming data pipelines.
6. Experience working with data ingestion from 3rd party vendors using APIs.
7. Work on integration of data platforms into observability tools.
8. Excellent collaborator by tailoring your communication for different audiences and ensuring effective communication between developers, partners, and leadership.
