Senior Data Architect & Modeler – EMEA

Location: Portugal (Remote/Hybrid options available)

A leading global organization is seeking a Senior Data Architect & Modeler to drive
- wide data architecture and modeling initiatives. This role will be pivotal in defining data architecture principles, ensuring compliance across various business functions, and enabling

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise data architectures to maximize data usability and business value.
• Develop and govern enterprise data models, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Lead data modeling initiatives, including data integration, ETL pipelines, and performance optimization.
• Provide technical expertise and advisory support on data solution designs and architectures.
• Oversee the development of data standards, ensuring adherence across projects.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to establish a
  - ready data technology roadmap.
• Drive enterprise data monetization strategies by creating impactful data products.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in data management, data integration, and data modeling (Data Vault & Data Mesh preferred).
• Advanced understanding of enterprise data architecture, including ERP and CRM systems.
• Expertise in data warehousing, data lakes, and modern data solutions (Databricks, Snowflake, etc. ).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with programming languages (Python, Java, Scala, or Java
  Script).
• Familiarity with ETL tools (e. g. , Matillion, Azure Data Factory) and enterprise data catalog tools (e. g. , Collibra).
• Experience in metadata management, data governance, and analytics system development.
• Strong
  - solving skills and an independent working style.
