A Senior Data Admin will help the Data Management and Systems Operations (DSO) department by ensuring data security and quality and by supporting data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, and other
- oriented professionals in catering and delivering

- level solutions for both our internal and external clients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure data security throughout data ingestion and data quality activities
• Install all needed software components crucial for the
  -
  - end delivery of our
  - level data solutions
• Properly configure all systems and provide system administration support if needed
• Manage existing data in existing data warehouses, data marts, and other data storages
• Support data migration with proper capacity planning, troubleshooting, and by implementing proper backup and data recovery measures
• Assist associate data admins and serve as a consultant in times of need

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field
• At least 3 years of work experience as a data admin is required for this position
• Working knowledge in Hadoop, Map
  Reduce, Hive, Yarn, Oracle DB, or at least one of these is required for this position
• Knowledge of different servers such as Windows Server, Cent
  OS, and any other is strongly preferred
• Knowledge in handling different relational and
  - relational databases is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Talend and Cloudera/Hortonworks is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services is a big plus
• Natural problem solver and critical thinker
• Willing to work in a hybrid setup
• Amenable to work in BGC
• Preferably someone who can start ASAP but this is not a requirement
