Is a leading financial services and regulatory technology company headquartered in Northern Ireland, with a global presence. They specialize in providing innovative solutions that help financial institutions navigate complex regulatory landscapes, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
Your new role:
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive security policies, strategies, and frameworks to safeguard organizational data and infrastructure.
- Oversee the security department , ensuring alignment with organizational goals, effective resource management, and continuous improvement in security operations.
- Manage incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management efforts , ensuring timely and effective mitigation of risks.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and
- functional teams to align security objectives with business goals and regulatory requirements.
What you will need to succeed:
- Proven experience in information security management , with a strong understanding of risk assessment, incident response, and security operations.
- Expertise in security frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with network and cloud security , vulnerability management, identity and access management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills , with the ability to engage with executive leadership and
- functional teams. - Experience in a leadership role within a security team, ideally in a financial services or similarly regulated industry.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA (or equivalent) are highly desirable .
