The opportunity: Uphold is looking for a Senior Consumer Data Analyst to join our Data team and work closely with the Executive Team. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity where you’ll get to join a team of engineers, scientists, and analysts who are passionate about data and technology with a great sense of collaboration and responsibility.

You’ll be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from across the Fin
Tech industry, translating key metrics into
- driven insights that enable our company to optimize business processes, empower financial decisions, and drive the product roadmap. You will also bring domain expertise to the table, advocating for
- driven
- making throughout the company.

What you’ll be doing primarily: Identify valuable external data sources on pricing, products, market trends, competitors, and suppliers,
- referencing them with internal data to boost business performance. Conduct
- depth data explorations and analysis to be consumed by senior management, marketing, production, and finance teams to enhance targeting, increase revenue, and allocate resources more efficiently. Translate business questions and objectives into concrete metrics and KPIs. Implement and automate dashboards and reports that feed on data to support
- making. Communicate results clearly, concisely, and assertively, either orally or via
- documented resources. Design customized interfaces to expose internal data to key stakeholders. Guarantee data quality on both operational systems and offline datasets. Help data engineers with the design, implementation, and maintenance of data pipelines. Researching competitors, adjacent markets, and current market trends to discover new business and process opportunities. Develop domain expertise on digitized financial assets to bring an advanced level of understanding to analyses. Contribute to the definition of overarching processes and practices across the Data Team and the rest of the company. Evangelize a
- driven culture throughout Uphold’s multiple business units. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, economics, statistics, informatics, data science, or engineering. Experience working with BI/dashboarding tools such as Looker, Metabase, Tableau, Power
BI, and Si
Sense. Strong knowledge of SQL and Python. Good knowledge of probability and statistics. Experience summarizing data analyses into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Experience working with data warehousing solutions in a
- based environment. Knowledge about data modeling on database management systems. Creativity, curiosity, and a growth mindset. Team player with the ability to work within
- functional teams. Value and
- oriented, with a keen eye for quality of deliverables. Fluent written and oral English skills. Bonus if you have: Advanced degree preferred. Experience working with database systems such as Postgre
SQL and Snowflake. Fluency in cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, and other digitized financial instruments. Community talks, certifications, and/or blog posts on your areas of interest. Open-source project contributions of any kind, such as tools developed to solve specific problems you’ve had or fixing issues on existing projects.
