The opportunity

EY has a
- established Climate Change and Sustainability practice to respond to our client’s growing need for guidance in this area, including ESG integration strategy, decarbonization and energy transition, circular economy, sustainability reporting, and sustainable finance. Our Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCa
SS) team is growing exponentially, and as a Senior Consultant you’ll play a key role in that growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Advise clients on insights and strategies related to sustainability and climate change topics.
2. Assist your manager in preparing work plans and client deliverables.
3. Build relationships and identify opportunities for clients to benefit from our knowledge in other areas.
4. Research and contribute to the creation of business insights and follow up evolving regulatory requirements and trends relating to sustainability and climate change.
5. Contribute to new business development by highlighting potential opportunities for new engagements and responding to tenders.
6. Support team management.
7. Contribute to the development of the CCa
   SS team supporting junior members and leading by example.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

1. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Environmental Sciences, Finance, Economics, or similar fields of study.
2. At least 3 years of work experience advising clients on
   - related insights and strategies.
3. Understanding of key sustainability issues and trends.
4. A dedication to teamwork.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
6. Strong project management and personnel management skills.
7. Willingness and ability for national and international travel.

Ideally, you also have:

1. Professional presence with the ability to establish personal credibility.
2. Ability to analyze complex issues and deliver insightful solutions.
