This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – work from home for 3 days per week.

As aCobol
Developer, you will work for our client—a global IT leader driving innovation with
- edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of 36 applications, ensuring their reliability, adaptability, and performance.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Manage incident resolution and provide N3-N4 level support.
• Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance for existing applications.
• Ensure technological vigilance, handling framework and platform obsolescence.
• Collaborate with Application Managers, business teams, and IT stakeholders to drive solutions.
• Conduct code quality and security audits, engage in pair programming, and improve build procedures.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in application development and maintenance.
• Strong technical expertise in COBOL, JCL, MVS, DB2, CICS, and Shell scripting.
• Proficiency in analyzing and diagnosing technical issues and preparing detailed technical specifications.
• B2-level proficiency in both French and English.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and propose solutions
