The project

We are building two new cloud managed services to provide Postgre
SQL and Redis instances to SAP BTP users. The services aim to help SAP internal and external clients to have a seamless experience when in need of a database or caching service. Given the connection to SAP Core Infrastructure, this project is a major priority for SAP and BTP.

What you’ll do

• Help lead the team with your technical expertise and love for coding/technology.
• Guide building and maintaining complex BTP Cloud Services that are deployed in a Cloud environment.
• Learn new technologies, help the team adopt
  -
  -
  - art technologies, and innovate.
• Define coding best practices and guidelines for clean code.
• Drive and participate in design discussions on the best way forward to build the services.
• If you want, you can explore the Dev
  Ops world using Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Collaborate with the team to work on and improve agile practices.
• Be part of a highly skilled engineering team and work/learn with some of the best engineers in the software industry.
• Be part of product development at SAP, where we build and deploy the next generation of SAP products.

What you’ll bring

• Love for software development and learning.
• Deep
  - on expertise in Type
  Script/Node. JS/Golang.
• Well understanding of Postgre
  SQL and Redis services and their use cases.
• Deep Git knowledge.
• Containerization and orchestration knowledge (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Cloud development principles (the 12-factors) is beneficial.
• Iaa
  S experience with at least one Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Confidence working within Unix/Linux shell environments.
• Cloud Dev
  Ops knowledge is beneficial (e. g. , Git
  Hub Actions, Jenkins, Concourse, Terraform, etc. ).
• Ability to speak and write English fluently is mandatory.
