We're looking for an awesome Senior Clinical Assay Development Scientist | IVD | Diagnostics to join our team on our journey to revolutionize personalized medicine.

About your Role

• Lead the identification, validation, and application of novel blood biomarkers for disease prediction, prognosis, and treatment stratification.
• Oversee the planning and execution of
  - scale clinical studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and ethical standards.
• Analyze and interpret data generated from biomarker discovery and validation studies, effectively communicating findings to technical and
  - technical audiences.
• Provide scientific and strategic guidance to internal and external stakeholders on biomarker development, clinical study design, and regulatory requirements specific to photonics and AI-based diagnostics.
• Establish and maintain collaborations with external partners, such as academic institutions, industry experts, and clinical centers, to support biomarker discovery and clinical validation studies.
• Master’s Degree in a relevant Life Sciences field (biology, medicine, biomedical engineering, molecular biology, others) (Bonus: Ph
  D).
• + 3 years relevant experience in the development/validation of Human Blood Biomarkers (Bonus: Spectral or AI Biomarkers).
• Extensive knowledge and
  - on experience in blood biomarker discovery, validation, and clinical translation (Bonus: Analytical Assay development).
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for clinical diagnostics (Bonus: FDA/CLIA/GCP standards).
• Proficiency in applying statistical analysis and data interpretation methods to biomarker discovery and validation studies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with
  - functional teams, present scientific findings to technical and
  - technical audiences, and establish external partnerships.
• Ability to thrive in a
  - paced
  - up environment that may require adapting quickly to new directions or taking the initiative and ownership of key workstreams.
• A passion for innovation, a willingness to learn, and a solid commitment to scientific excellence and integrity.
• Interested in working hard towards solving one of the century's biggest challenges in Healthcare.

Bonus Skills:

• Understanding of Optics (spectroscopy, Raman, FTIR or similar techniques).
• Understanding of AI (machine learning, deep learning).
• Experience in IVD blood assay development.
• Successful Fast-Growing startup experience (Very relevant plus).
