Location will be Lisbon and Braga, and the working model will be hybrid. Candidates must be living in Portugal.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Backend Developer with expertise in Type
Script to join our innovative development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable,
- performance backend services and APIs using Type
Script. They will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of web applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and Develop Backend Services: Architect, design, and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs using Type
   Script.
2. Database Management: Design, implement, and manage database schemas, queries, and transactions to support application functionality.
3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
4. Optimize Performance: Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications by optimizing
   - side logic and database queries.
5. Code Review and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and provide mentorship to junior developers.
6. Testing and Debugging: Write and execute unit and integration tests, and identify and fix bugs or performance issues.
7. Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep up to date with the latest industry trends in backend development and Type
   Script, ensuring that the team is using the best possible techniques and tools.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proven experience with Type
  Script and Java
  Script.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Node. js or Nest
  JS.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Type
  Script.
• Solid understanding of
  - side programming and architecture.
• Experience with relational and/or No
  SQL databases such as Postgre
  SQL or Mongo
  DB.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Strong
  - solving skills and the ability to think critically and independently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. AWS preferred.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and principles.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
• Experience with
  - driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks like Mocha, Chai, or Jest.
