This is a Lisbon-based hybrid opportunity – work from home for 3 days per week.

As a Backend Developer, you will work for our client—a global IT leader driving innovation with
- edge solutions and services. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.

Your Main Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
2. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
3. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
4. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

1. Proven experience as a Software Developer in Java.
2. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
3. Experience with software design and development in a
   - driven environment.
4. Excellent communication skills in English.
