We are looking for a Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team in Porto, on a hybrid basis.

The professional will be responsible for the development, optimization and maintenance of data solutions in the cloud, ensuring efficiency, security and scalability of systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that all data models are integrated and made available in Microsoft Business Intelligence tools, namely Power BI;
2. Design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines on the Microsoft Azure platform;
3. Manage and optimize data ingestion, transformation and storage processes;
4. Ensure data integrity, quality and security in accordance with best practices;
5. Work closely with development, business and analytics teams to ensure solutions aligned with the organization's objectives;
6. Implement data governance and monitoring models to ensure compliance and performance;
7. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation on data architecture and processes.

Requirements:

1. Experience in managing and administering Oracle and Microsoft databases, including performance optimization and maintenance;
2. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Data Engineer, focusing on Microsoft Azure;
3. Experience with data modeling, ETL processing and performance optimization;
4. Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python and/or Spark;
5. Experience with agile methodologies and Dev
   Ops practices for continuous integration and deployment;
6. Analytical skills for interpreting data and solving complex problems;
7. Good communication and teamwork skills;
8. English level C1 (oral and written).
