On a daily basis, the consultant will be in charge of a wide range of various technical & organizational tasks:

1. Operational support on all environments (investigate and resolve incident & issues, change requests, maintenance, on call. . . )
2. Level 3 Support on IT infrastructure
3. Ensure stability of applications and systems (Set up relevant monitoring metrics, resilient architecture. . . )
4. Drive technical projects with infrastructure and dev teams (drive meetings & planning)
5. Participate in providing technical architecture and support on Business Projects
6. Improve our tools and procedures (shell scripting, Power
   Shell, test scenario. . . )
7. Provide secure architecture, which complies with SLAs.
8. Follow-up and coordination of changes and technical operations (electrical shutdown, servers move, etc. )
9. Change management: production of new versions of applications and any change on infrastructure part.
10. Carry out the commissioning of the new versions of applications in collaboration with the teams in charge of the development and maintenance of these applications and with the technical teams: Systems engineers, Databases, Work and network possibly.
11. Management of treatment scheduling
12. Participate in the resolution of production incidents and contribute in problem management
13. Drafting / maj of instructions
14. Document the components and operation of applications: software architecture, technical architecture, procedures, supervision needs, . . .
15. Manage backup data and ensure regular restoring tests.
16. Monitoring application and infrastructure with efficient alerting system to guarantee SLA with business line.
17. Control load capacity for application and adapt infrastructure resource by more allocation or redesigning architecture
18. Guarantee DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan): twice test a year to ensure different scenarios (like Datacenter lost, server or network failure …)
19. Project management: define technical architecture for new application using infrastructure standards and work with dev team to build it

The consultant will find hereunder a range of tools and technologies that we are using:

1. Minimum 6 years of experience on Linux IT Project
2. Good knowledge of Linux environments (Windows Server is a plus)
3. Proficiency in scripting languages (shell, python)
4. Strong understanding in web servers (manage migration from Web
   Sphere to JBoss for example)
5. Good knowledge of security: SSL certificates, reverse proxy, load balancing
6. General knowledge in scheduler tools (Control-M, VTOM)
7. General knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, ELK)
8. General knowledge of deployment tools (GIT, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Openshift, Docker)
