You‘ll join a dynamic team, where your role will involve ensuring smooth logistics, efficient production, and timely delivery of our
- notch products. We are currently in an exciting transformation where we are growing a Tech Hub in Portugal. Together, we are a diverse team with different backgrounds and personalities, but we are all connected.

Your Mission

1. Derive suitable load cases and targets using first principles, prior experiences, and relevant documentation.
2. Work within an integrated,
   - disciplinary design and development team to ensure proposed design solutions meet required load cases.
3. Support
   - contract and concept generation through feasibility analysis.
4. Adhere to analysis procedures and clearly record analysis results.
5. Lead and develop junior team members.
6. Perform a wide range of calculations for mechanical components such as sandwich & monolithic panels, inserts, bonded joints, brackets, and assemblies.
7. Create and run stress analysis simulations within Altair, MSC Nastran (Abaqus is a plus).
8. Analyse simulation results and provide comprehensive
   - processing (Altair tools).
9. Support correlation activities with physical testing and validation.
10. Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
11. Extend analysis capability within your specialism.
12. Contribute to continual improvement of analysis processes and tools.
13. Support business development activities and create customer proposals.
14. Monitor analysis plans and progress for assigned projects.
15. Manage external CAE resource in coordination with line manager.

Your Story:

1. University master’s degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace/aeronautical engineering.
2. Minimum 10 years’ experience in an aerospace business in the fields of:
3. FE Analysis with MSC (NASTRAN), Altair (Hyperworks/Optistruct) and/or Abaqus & NX Siemens.
4. Detailed stress analysis using aerospace and classical (hand calc) methods.
5. Experience in analysis of Satellite structures, mechanisms, antennas, and other launcher structures.
6. Extensive experience in stress simulation, including implicit, fatigue, linear, and
   - linear analysis.
7. Advanced knowledge in static, dynamic, and nonlinear analysis.
8. Advanced knowledge in analysis of composites, sandwich structures, and lightweight materials.
9. Experience in test prediction and correlation of structures and components (static and dynamic).
