Squarespace is looking for a Security Engineer with a focus on Product Security to join a dedicated team responsible for organizational security posture. You'll partner with teams across the organization to prevent, detect, and help mitigate security risks throughout the product lifecycle, from development to
- release maintenance. This is either a hybrid (NY) or a remote (within US) role and you will report to the Product Security Engineering Manager.

You'll Get To…

• Demonstrate a broad understanding of security fundamentals to protect the organization's assets and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product teams and design security solutions and help them implement patching workflows and build secure coding practices.
• Improve existing security monitoring tools and workflows.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• Communicate effectively to convey complex technical security issues
  - functionally through written documentation and verbal communication.

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field, or equivalent
  - on experience in the security domain.
• 1+ years of experience in threat modeling and risk assessments, helping identify security risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Hands-on experience deploying secure coding practices, automation tools, and application security solutions (e. g. , SAST, DAST, SCA tools).
• Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, JS or Go.

Cash Compensation Range: $101, 500 – $178, 250 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on
- related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors. In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include
- target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to receive an incentive award as part of their total compensation.
