Job summary:

As a Security & Compliance Solutions Architect, you will design, develop, and implement
-
- end
- based solutions with focus on shaping the security and compliance practice as well as the respective strategy, toolbelt and reference architecture embedded into each digital services solution. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and optimizing solutions that are vital to SAP's business, working across delivery units and driving customer and partner excellence. You will also contribute to strategic direction while staying aligned with best practices and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, validate and implement security & compliance strategy, toolbelt and reference architectures for usage in SAP's digital services.
• Take ownership for designing architectures across
  -
  - end processes, ensuring readiness for implementation with stakeholder and engineering teams.
• Develop target and transition solution architecture blueprints to guide project implementation.
• Actively work with product, process management, engineering, and operations teams to align the architecture with current and future product and cloud offerings.
• Define technical roadmap items for innovation adoption with subject matter experts and ensure continuous evolution of the architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
• Lead and support development teams in executing architectural blueprints, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Conduct architecture reviews to maintain adherence to industry standards. Develop integration designs for seamless connectivity between SAP Cloud and
  - premise systems.
• Prepare materials and submit proposals through architecture governance boards for approvals.
• Support management in shaping strategic directions for project solutions and customer engagement.
• Stay current with the latest cloud technologies, SAP advancements, and industry trends to incorporate best practices into solutions.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with architectural decisions and cloud migrations.

What You’ll Bring:

• Deep experience in compliance tooling and security engineering focusing not on governance, but on enabling secure and compliant engineering with the teams.
• Experience in architecture modeling, software development, and programming.
• Background in IT solutions architecture with a strong understanding of SAP solution portfolios and key methodologies for efficient deployment and operation.
• Experience working as a solution architect in consulting or close to customers is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP CX, SAP Commerce and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is highly desirable.

Ideally, experience across the full lifecycle from idea to market, with a focus on integration technologies and
-
- end process chains.

Ability to own, lead, and coordinate operational tasks, escalations, and process improvements.

Experience in aligning delivery architecture with enterprise architecture teams and working closely with
- functional teams to achieve business outcomes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
