Role Overview:

We are looking for a Scrum Master to join one of our biggest clients in the Porto area (Hybrid). A multinational financial services firm, one of the largest financial groups and among the 30 largest financial institutions globally.

What you will do:

We are seeking a dynamic Scrum Master - this role is crucial in facilitating Agile practices, ensuring effective communication, and fostering a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in French and English, enabling seamless interaction with our diverse team and stakeholders.

• Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, including daily
  - ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring that all team members are engaged and productive.
• Team Support: Remove impediments, creating conditions for the team to become more effective.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Guide team members in Agile principles and practices, promoting
  - organization and accountability within the team.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the IT team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project status, risks, and requirements in both French and English.
• Performance Metrics: Track and report on team performance metrics, helping to identify areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance productivity.
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine Agile processes to align with best practices, adapting them to meet the team’s unique needs.
• Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and facilitate discussions to ensure a harmonious team environment, addressing any issues that may hinder team performance.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation related to Agile processes, sprint goals, and team progress, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.

What you are like:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an IT/Software Development environment;
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, particularly Scrum.
• Experience with Agile project management tools (e. g. , Jira) is a plus.
• Certification in Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
