Scrum Master - Europe

Hiscox Europe, which includes Germany, France, Benelux, Iberia and Ireland, is hiring a skilled Scrum Master to be part of the transition to agile ways of working, helping establish and embed the agile mindset, values, principles and best practices to build a cohesive Business and Technology change and delivery capability.
As part of Europe Technology Team, based in Lisbon, and reporting to the Agile Practice lead, you will be responsible for working closely with the teams to improve and adapt a blended delivery approach that works for Hiscox.
How will you help us? With your experience, skills and competences in Agile ways of working…
- Knowledge of the Agile mindset and practices and the benefits of applying Agile to product delivery.
- Previous knowledge/experience of working with Agile methodologies in particular the Scrum framework, although knowledge of other methods like Kanban is also valuable.
- Strong experience (minimum 3 years) in the Scrum Master role with a Scrum Master certification (e. g. CSM, PSM).
- Experience in coaching, training and upskilling teams on agile mindset and practices.
- Knowledge in a scaled Agile methodology (e. g. SAFe, Le
SS, Scrum@Scale). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ensuring confidence in conflict resolution and the ability to tailor own style to the audience.
- Experience with agile collaboration tools (e. g. JIRA, Confluence, Miro).
- Experience in measuring and tracking metrics of the team’s performance; knowledge of implementing dashboards in Microsoft Power
BI is a plus. - Knowledge and experience in applying the OKRs framework is a plus.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills; additional language (German, French, Spanish, or Dutch) is a plus.
- Strong
- driven person to align the Agile Practices with promoting delivery outcomes by the teams that will contribute to increasing Hiscox business.

- Collaborate closely with the wider Europe technology and business change teams to embed new ways of working, driving a shift in culture to focus on
- centric design and delivery practices. - Guide and support
- disciplined squads employing agile values, principles and practices to deliver value to our business. - Facilitate all Scrum events in the teams, including daily
- ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, so that they can become more effective and autonomous. - Be part of the team that leads the implementation of agile delivery tools and practices, and support teams throughout the delivery life cycle.
- Promote effective collaboration and communication within the team and across other areas or teams.
- Provide transparency and visibility into the team's progress and deliverables through clear reporting and metrics.
- Coach and facilitate the transition to agile practices through collaborative working practices.
- Support teams to improve and adapt to a blended delivery approach.
- Define and improve the adoption of the agile tools and techniques.
- Be part of the Agile transformation ways of working across the different countries in Hiscox Europe and contribute to this major transformation to be a success story.
- Work with the other members of the Agile community of practice to aid continuous learning, share knowledge and collaborate as a team to mature the organization's
