Role Overview:

We are looking for a Scala Developer for one of our banking clients, a Software House focused on the development of financial markets and investment platforms, with several international projects, in Lisbon.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for leading the migration of an existing Hadoop-based infrastructure to a new cloud environment on AWS. The role includes delivering service enhancements, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth migration. This also involves completing projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality, while designing solutions for complex customer communications.

What you are like:

• Academic training in Computer Engineering or similar;
• 4+ years of experience working with Spark Scala programming language;
• Experience and good understanding in AWS and CI/CD pipeline;
• Knowledge on Control-M, Hadoop/Spark, Kafka, Charon streaming, Postman, Java, Hue - SQL querying;
• Broad experience of agile software development practices (Unit testing, Test driven development or CI/CD);
• Work on challenging projects for big clients.
