Job Description:

Capgemini Portugal is currently looking for an SAP API Developer to join one of the world's most prestigious and innovative companies in the luxury industry. Our Client is the owner of prestigious Maisons distinguished by their craftsmanship, creativity, and technological innovation.

Responsibilities

1. Design and build APIs: Crafting efficient and secure APIs that can transfer data between SAP and other systems.
2. API testing: Rigorous testing to ensure that the APIs are
   - free and meet performance standards.
3. Documentation: Creating comprehensive guides and documentation to assist other developers in understanding the APIs functionality.
4. Integration: Incorporating the APIs into existing software applications both SAP and
   - SAP.
5. Security: Implementing advanced security protocols to protect data integrity during API transactions.
6. Work closely with SAP functional consultant to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionality.
7. Prepares technical designs document and unit testing.
8. Proposes robust solutions to meet the functional needs.
9. Builds professional relationships with team members and clients, to ensure delivery of proposed solutions.

Academic Background

Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent experience.

Skills & Experience

1. 3+ years of experience with SAP Odata developments.
2. 3+ years of experience with SAP ABAP and CDS developments.
3. Knowledge on creating/updating Open
   API specification (e. g. , with Swagger).
4. Strong understanding of REST API principles.
5. API Design.
6. Previous experience working on international projects.
7. Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a nice to have.
8. Proficiency in English is mandatory, French is a plus.
