We are looking for a Sales/Proposal Engineer (EPC) to join our team based at our office in Lisbon, Porto, or Viseu, Portugal, with the possibility of (On-Site/Hybrid) work mode.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze RFQs and RFPs (Request for Quotation and Request for Proposal), understanding the technical and commercial requirements from clients.
- Coordinate with the internal engineering team to develop technical solutions aligned with client specifications.
- Identify and negotiate with subcontractors, equipment, and material suppliers, ensuring the best
- benefit ratio. - Prepare detailed budgets for solar EPC projects, including costs for engineering, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
- Develop the final proposal, including technical, commercial, and legal documentation.
- Ensure deadlines for proposal submission are met.
- Support the sales team in presenting and defending technical proposals to clients. .
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Renewable Energy, or related fields) or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in preparing proposals for EPC projects, ideally in the solar photovoltaic sector.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, technical specification analysis, and RFQ interpretation.
- Familiarity with renewable energy suppliers and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in tools such as advanced Excel, project management software, and CRM systems.
- Ability to prepare and organize technical and legal documentation.
- Fluency in [required language(s)] and solid command of technical English.
- Highly organized,
- oriented, and able to manage tight deadlines.
