We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Representative to play a crucial role in our company's international expansion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads and identifying, qualifying, and acquiring new customers. This role involves significant travel and demands a proactive approach to generate leads and meeting potential clients and presenting our solutions.
Sales/Business Development Manager (m/f/d) – Vaibe
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Acquisition: Identify and target potential customers, initiating contact with key personnel at prospective companies. Strategically develop and drive lead campaigns. Establish and develop relationships to introduce and present our solutions effectively.
- Travel and Customer Management: Travel to prospect new clients, events and fairs. Ensure
- quality customer engagement and relationship management. - Customer Needs Analysis: Recognize and thoroughly understand customer needs and requirements. Analyze these needs to determine how our solutions can best meet them.
- Offer Preparation and Contract Conclusion: Take the lead in preparing proposals, leveraging support from our teams. Drive the negotiation process and work towards the successful conclusion of contracts.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various internal teams to ensure that customer requirements are met and that our offerings are
- aligned with their needs. Especially in close collaboration with a) marketing to jointly drive lead generation campaigns and b) customer success to ensure smooth transition to customer onboarding.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role (+2 years)
- Industry specific knowledge – channel, solutions, vendors and competition
- Proven sales track record and/or lead generation in the B2B software environment
- Preferably knowhow in a fast pace environment such as a startup or innovative company
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Commercial awareness, initiative and customer focus
- Time management and planning & organization skills
- Fluent in English is a must
