Research Scholarship

Applicants for the Research scholarship must, on the application date, be enrolled, or present proof of conditional enrollment in a Ph
D in the scientific area of Biotechnology. Candidates must have completed a Master degree in Food, Chemical, Environment, Polymer or Materials Engineering, Biotechnology and Innovation, or related areas.

The candidate must show interest in the scientific area and be able to develop teamwork in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment. It is essential that candidates are fluent in English (speaking and writing) and have relevant experience in research.

Preferred factors will be considered, including experience in:

1. Food packaging
2. Development and formulation
3. Characterization techniques of mechanical and barrier properties
4. Migration assessment
5. Recyclability
6. Life cycle assessment
