Job Description / Summary
We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to support our growth across German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) in the field of molecular diagnostics for food safety, IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics), and veterinary applications . This role is perfect for a junior professional looking to step into a
- impact, international sales environment.
You’ll be based in Portugal , working remotely or hybrid , engaging with stakeholders in laboratories, research institutions, and industry across the DACH region .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with customers in the DACH market
- Promote molecular diagnostic solutions tailored to food safety, IVD, and veterinary sectors
- Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and
- ups - Collaborate with the technical and marketing teams to address customer needs
- Track sales activities using CRM tools and report regularly
Requirements
- Fluent German (spoken and written) – essential
- Professional proficiency in English
- Based in Portugal
- 1–2 years of experience in a sales or
- facing role (open to juniors with a strong motivation) - Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Interest in life sciences, biotech, or diagnostics
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in B2B sales in diagnostics, biotech, or medical sectors
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e. g. , Salesforce, Hub
Spot) - Scientific background or education in biology, food science, or related fields
