About the role:

We are looking for a Software Engineer that will be in charge of
-
- end
- time communication software development for our
- saving platform. You will be designing and implementing
- performance Vo
IP services/streaming architecture, in order to provide people the help they need in emergency situations.

Development of core RTC components from client level up to the
- side, implementing highly scalable
- time communication infrastructure for emergency services.

Working on
- platform environments with mobile clients, Vo
IP and streaming clustered servers, and on command and control systems and emergency
- devices.

You will be working on a wide variety of RTC
- source projects and components: Web
RTC (internals and APIs), HTTP streaming, media frameworks and media engines (GStreamer, FFmpeg), B/W estimation, video and audio codecs (VP8/9, H. 264/5, SVC, Opus, AAC).

Minimum Requirements:

1. BSC in Software Engineering/Computer Science
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Real-Time Communication - Audio/Video/Web
   RTC/Streaming (Experience in Scala and/or Java and/or C is a plus, but we welcome expertise in any technology)
3. Experience in developing in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
4. A proactive “can-do” approach and exceptional interpersonal abilities
5. Quick learner with flexibility to adapt to new technologies
6. Fluent English

Advantages:

2. Experience with networking protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP, and RTP
3. Working with Web
   Sockets
4. Experience with designing and coding UI components
