About the role:

We are looking for a Software Engineer that will be in charge of
-
- end
- time communication software development for our
- saving platform. You will be designing and implementing
- performance Vo
IP services/Streaming architecture, in order to provide people the help they need in emergency situations.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Development of core RTC components from client level up to the
   - side, implementing highly scalable
   - time communication infrastructure for emergency services.
2. Working on
   - platform environments with mobile clients, Vo
   IP and Streaming clustered servers, and on command and control systems and emergency
   - devices.
3. Working on a wide variety of RTC
   - source projects and components: Web
   RTC (Internals and APIs), HTTP Streaming, Media frameworks and media engines (GStreamer, FFmpeg), BW Estimation, Video and Audio codecs (VP8/9, H. 264/5, SVC, Opus, AAC).

Minimum Qualifications:

• BSC in Software Engineering/Computer Science
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Microservices (Experience in Scala and/or Java and/or C is a plus, but we welcome expertise in any technology)
• At least 4 years of experience in building advanced web applications
• Experience in developing in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• A proactive “can-do” approach and exceptional interpersonal abilities
• Quick learner with flexibility to adapt to new technologies.

Advantages:

• Experience with Networking protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP, and RTP
• Working with Web
  Sockets
• Experience with designing and coding UI components
