Are you ready to advance your career in the real estate industry? A leading company is seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate to join their dynamic team in Lisbon.
Your new role
- Real Estate Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research on market conditions, identifying trends, supply and demand, demographic shifts, and other influential factors.
- Property Valuation: Perform precise and unbiased valuations of commercial and residential properties, considering location, features, and comparable properties.
- Strategic Reporting: Produce detailed reports on the real estate market, highlighting investment opportunities, risks, and strategic recommendations for stakeholders. Submit these reports periodically to senior management and the board.
- Investment Opportunity Analysis: Evaluate the profitability and feasibility of new real estate projects and investments, including cash flow analysis, ROI, and associated risks.
- Risk Management: Identify and monitor risks in the real estate market, assessing the impact of economic factors, regulations, and public policies. Propose strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Budget Management: Develop and oversee real estate project budgets, ensuring expenses remain within projections and recommending
- optimisation strategies without compromising quality or deadlines. - Project Tracking: Assist in managing real estate projects by monitoring timelines, budgets, and execution to ensure alignment with investment goals.
- Negotiation Support: Provide technical support during property negotiations, offering market data and analysis to optimise
- making and negotiation conditions. - Advisory to Senior Management and Board: Continuously advise senior management and the board with
- driven insights to support strategic real estate decisions. - Real Estate Data Management: Maintain and update real estate databases, ensuring access to accurate and relevant data for
- making. - Liaising with Financial Institutions: Negotiate with commercial banks, investment banks, private equity firms, and real estate funds to secure project financing and manage credit lines.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management, Economics, Finance, Civil Engineering, or related fields (postgraduate qualification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Analyst or similar roles in the real estate sector.
- Proven ability to create and manage real estate project budgets, monitor costs, and optimize expenses.
- Deep knowledge of the Portuguese real estate market, including regulations, price trends, and economic factors.
- Experience in real estate investment analysis and property valuation.
- Skilled in conducting complex financial analyses, including cash flow, financial projections, and ROI.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English (written and oral), with experience in report and presentation preparation.
- Proficient in data analysis tools (advanced Excel, property valuation software, BI tools, etc. ).
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly and effectively, both in writing and orally.
