Your Role In Our Team

As an R&D Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of new products and solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and implement automation solutions that enhance our portfolio of products and development of new ones.
• Integrate automation solutions with existing equipment and processes.
• Develop and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) and
  - machine interface (HMI) programs for automated systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize PLC and HMI code for optimal system performance.
• Select appropriate sensors, actuators, and control devices for automation projects.
• Ensure seamless communication and integration between different components of the automated system.
• Work closely with
  - functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and production teams, to ensure successful implementation of automation projects.
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners for the procurement of automation components.
• Conduct thorough testing of automation systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and safety.
• Validate automation solutions through performance analysis and optimization.
• Prepare detailed documentation, including system specifications, schematics, and operating manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of system configurations and changes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in existing automation systems.
• Promote and encourage the incorporation of new technological trends to enhance product performance.
• Design the architecture of the solutions taking into account the project specifications.

• 3 - 6 years of experience in similar positions.
• Degree in Electrotechnical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Preferably, with programming experience (Tia Portal Siemens).
• Proficient in PLC programming languages.
• Experience with HMI programming and interface design.
• Strong understanding of control systems, motion control, and industrial automation technologies.
• Familiarity with different communication protocols used in industrial automation.
• Eplan is a plus.
• MS Office.
• Applicable Standards and Regulations.
• English.
